Reversing Falls
+ My Favorites
This phenomenon is caused by the tides in the Bay of Fundy. In high tide, the tides actually rise higher than the river level, and force the river to flow upstream, even to the point of causing uphill rapids in the river.

Grand Falls Gorge and Waterfalls
+ My Favorites
The Grand Falls Gorge and Waterfalls are known as the largest waterfalls east of Niagara. The gorge stretches over 1.5 km (1 mi) and boasts cliff walls up to 70 m (230 ft) high. Take a guided tour of the falls by pontoon or on foot and learn how the gorge was slowly carved out over millions of years by the cascading waters of the St. John River.

St. George Falls
+ My Favorites
The St. George Falls, once known as First Falls, are a popular scenic attraction. The waterfalls change dramatically with the rising and falling of the tides, while its deep gorges, caves, salmon ladder and osprey provide a multitude of photography options.
