    Built in 1829, this church was ministered by Lord Beaverbrook’s father for 23 years. Lord Beaverbrook himself grew up on the church grounds. The current Greek Revival design replaced a former church, partially destroyed by the Great Miramichi Fire of 1825.

    Wilmot United Church

    Wilmot United Church was built in 1852. It is the sole remaining large wooden church in Fredericton, and seats around 800; its interior is largely hand-carved. One of the church’s most unique features is a stained glass window by the Pre-Raphaelite William Morris, added in 1913.

    Christ Church Cathedral

    Recognized as a National Historic Site, this cathedral was built in 1845. It was modeled after a medieval parish in Snettisham, England, and contains examples of skilled woodworking and fine woodworks and stained glass. Free guided tours are available from mid-June until August, and visitors are welcome through out the year. Worship services are scheduled regularly.
