Mount Carleton Provincial Park is located in the north central portion of New Brunswick. Its 17,427 hectare (43 acre) size makes it the largest natural park in the province. It is here that Mount Carleton resides, the tallest point in New Brunswick, reaching a height of 820 metres (2690 feet). There is approximately 62 km (38.5 mi) of hiking trails surrounded by lakes and valleys, which provide the opportunity for outdoor activities such as canoeing, fishing and swimming.
