Photographer's Description The Trinity Church, recognizable by its high steeple, is a great example of Neo-Gothic architecture. The parish, which is the oldest established Christian congregation in Saint John, was founded by the United Empire Loyalists who fled to parts of Canada to escape the American War of Independence. The original structure was built in 1791 and has since been renovated to the structure that stands today.
