The City of Saint John is steeped in history. As the oldest incorporated city in Canada, Saint John is littered with historic buildings and is home to the oldest continuing farmers market in Canada, the Old City Market.

The Trinity Church, recognizable by its high steeple, is a great example of Neo-Gothic architecture. The parish, which is the oldest established Christian congregation in Saint John, was founded by the United Empire Loyalists who fled to parts of Canada to escape the American War of Independence. The original structure was built in 1791 and has since been renovated to the structure that stands today.
