The Andrew and Laura McCain Gallery is a unique space in New Brunswick, and probably in Canada. It shows a very broad range of work, from that of firmly established, internationally recognized artists, to that of local school children. It also sometimes borrows exhibitions from such institutions as The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, The New Brunswick Museum, and The National Gallery of Canada. Occasionally it has shows of other interesting things, like war memorabilia or interactive science exhibitions. The gallery does not take any money from artists, nor does it charge artists to put on a show. It is a non-profit, public, no-admission-charge exhibition space that is entirely supported by the local communities, the local school board, businesses, and private individuals. It is not a selling gallery as such, although artists sometimes do sell work on show. Address: 8 McCain Street Florenceville NB E7L 3H6
