The Carrefour de la Mer
The Carrefour de la Mer translates to "Crossroads of the Sea" and is the scenic harbour area of Caraquet. A 15,000 square foot recreational facility is located on the site, complete with indoor and outdoor stages, and complete facilities to host any event. The site seasonally holds a Visitor Tourist Centre, seafood restaurant, gift shop, mini-golf course and playground. Many water-related activities originate from Carrefour de la Mer including canoeing, kayaking and fishing trips.
